A leading contractor within the Rail market is looking for an experienced Document Controller to join their team. They need someone who is capable of joining a DC team and able to hit the ground running; you will be based in their site office, working with the team day to day. Dealing with all office support needs and helping to upload and check documents; you will need experience dealing with filling documents on excel and using SharePoint or ProjectWise.

Responsibilities:
5. Proven experience in Document Control, ideally involving transport construction projects across multi-disciplined areas
6. In-depth knowledge of document control systems, including computer-based systems, including MOSS (Sharepoint), ProjectWise and eB
7. Proven relevant auditing experience.
8. Demonstrable customer focus
9. Knowledge of Library & Information Systems
10. Technical knowledge of modern web-based technologies
11. Microsoft Office expertise
12. Ad hoc duties when required
The ideal candidate will have:
13. Experience in SharePoint or ProjectWise
14. Excellent communication skills
15. Willing to do general admin and Ad Hoc duties
16. Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel / Word
17. The ability to multitask and have high attention to detail
18. Experience in the rail or construction industry / working on-site would be a bonus
