This full‑time locum position offers £22.87 per hour across a 3‑month contract, with working hours Monday to Friday (8:00–16:00 or 9:00–17:00, 30‑minute break). What you will do
* Pharmaceutical Care: Deliver safe, effective, and patient‑centred pharmacy services within the prison healthcare setting.
* Medicines Reconciliation: Ensure accurate medication histories and records for all patients.
* Dispensing & Supply: Issue medications in accordance with protocols and safety standards.
* Multi‑Agency Collaboration: Liaise with community pharmacies, GP practices, and other healthcare providers.
* Service Improvement: Contribute to initiatives that enhance pharmaceutical services and patient outcomes.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Post‑qualification experience in pharmacy practice.
* Experience in community pharmacy or working with complex patient groups is desirable.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
