As we enter an ambitious new phase of growth, we’re looking for a strategic, income‑driven Membership Manager to lead our membership programme and maximise its impact. As Membership Manager, supported by your Membership Officer, you will manage the day-to-day running of the membership programme while helping to shape its future direction, ensuring it continues to engage, inspire and retain a loyal community of supporters. You’ll shape and deliver a membership strategy that grows income, boosts retention, and strengthens lifetime value. You’ll bring creativity, commercial instinct, and excellent project and event management skills — including leading on our flagship Members’ Day in November 2026 and attending regional member events throughout the year. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, supportive and fun fundraising team that values innovation, collaboration and lived experience. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications, CRM and Involvement, and you’ll have regular opportunities to meet our members and service users. What you’ll do Grow and retain our membership, delivering year‑on‑year income growth. Lead the development of an inclusive, compelling membership offer. Oversee membership communications, including Your Voice printed magazine. Shape and deliver member events, including regular webinars and our biennial Members’ Day in 2026. Improve the Membership experience for joining and renewing. Use data and insight to improve supporter journeys and CRM processes. Manage and develop the Membership Officer. Produce regular reports and analysis to inform strategy. Manage the membership budget and ensure best value. Essential Experience working in a membership organisation or with subscription products. Strong project management experience. Experience managing staff or volunteers. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. Confidence using data to drive decisions and improvements. Desirable Charity experience. Event management experience. Digital and marketing expertise, with a track record of growing engagement. Experience with MS Dynamics CRM A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for innovation.
