Your future duties and responsibilities As a tenacious Pursuit Lead you’ll have the capability to pursue and bring new client opportunities to CGI, building out a key sub-sector of our Central Government business unit. Working closely with senior business unit stakeholders, the successful Pursuit Lead will be responsible for: Personally driving the development of new business with assigned clients Acting as a key stakeholder for new Client relationships, taking ownership of the sales pursuits Leading the full sales cycle through suspect, prospect, opportunity and closure Developing and maintaining strong relationships with assigned clients Leading and managing to achieve strategic targets Market research to ensure knowledge of procurements/opportunities Devising and proposing solutions to meet Client needs based on business/organisational value Presenting and defending sound and reasoned arguments for proposals Demonstrating a good understanding of your specialist area and the impact this can have Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Track record of successful Business Development within the Central Government space Demonstrable experience of building client relationships, resulting in successful delivery Strong stakeholder management skills Ability to clearly communicate customer business needs and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders Idea research and development
