You will be joining a major public sector organisation in the Oxfordshire region that is delivering a large, multi year organisational change programme. This work spans multiple directorates and involves significant structural, operational and service level transformation. To ensure the programme is delivered with discipline, clarity and strongernance, the organisation is seeking an experienced PMO Lead who can bring rigour, structure and strategic oversight to aplex portfolio of activity.
Your new role
As PMO Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining theernance, controls and reporting frameworks that underpin the entire programme. You will work closely with leaders, programme managers and delivery teams to ensure that planning, risk management, decision making and progress tracking are carried out consistently and to a high standard. This role requires someone who can confidently take ownership of PMO operations, challenge constructively and provide the insight and assurance needed to keep a large transformation programme on track. You will oversee programme documentation, maintain critical artefacts, coordinate keyernance forums and ensure that all activity aligns with agreed methodologies and strategic objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Extensive PMO leadership experience withinplex Public Sector environments
2. Proven background leading PMO functions across large, multi‑workstream programmes
3. Strong track record in programmeernance, RAID management, planning, reporting and assurance
4. Confidence in engaging stakeholders and influencing key decisions
5. Experience supporting major organisational change, service redesign or transformation initiatives
