Overview

Programme Tutor Assessor (Business Administrator/Data)

Annual Salary: £28,000 - £31,300 per annum
Location: Grimsby and Hull
Job Type: Full-time

Join our team as a Programme Tutor Assessor, specialising in Business Administration and Data. This role is pivotal in delivering inspiring teaching, learning, assessment, and support, ensuring high levels of learner achievement, completion, and progression. You will engage both learners and employers with learning programmes, fostering professional relationships and maximising business opportunities.


Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver teaching, learning, and assessment for learners individually and in groups, using both in-person and online methods across various settings.
* Develop and produce teaching and learning materials in both manual and electronic formats.
* Ensure learning programmes align with the requirements of awarding and funding bodies, achieving quality and performance targets.
* Build professional relationships with employers, learners, and other stakeholders to enhance the learning experience.
* Support the recruitment of learners, maintaining learner caseload and generating new business opportunities within programmes.
* Conduct regular reviews of learner progress, set targets, and provide essential guidance to aid learner progression.
* Engage employers in the learning process, keeping them informed of learner development and programme requirements.
* Participate in all quality improvement processes, including internal and external evaluations, audits, and inspections.
* Maintain accurate learner records and produce timely reports to meet internal and external standards.


Qualifications

* Relevant qualifications in the sector of delivery.
* DTLLS/CertEd or Level 5 Diploma in Education (achieved or willing to achieve).
* Assessor award (D32/33/A1/CAVA) if delivering occupational competency qualifications.
* Strong understanding of administration, business document production, and information management.
* Proficient in using IT systems and software, with strong reporting skills.
* Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (data protection, health & safety, etc.).
* Excellent literacy, numeracy, and decision-making skills.
* Proven ability to manage projects, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
