The Changing Futures Programme Sussex is one of 15 national Programme’s bringing together public and community sector partners to redesign ways that local systems and services are designed, delivered and commissioned to better meet the needs of people experiencing multiple disadvantage. Changing Futures Sussex works in partnership and is embedded across the three Local Authority areas: East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.
The Opportunity
Salary: £28,624 - £31,067 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term until 31/03/2026

Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for a role to join the Changing Futures Programme Sussex as a member of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) located within the Communities Directorate at West Sussex County Council.
Multiple Disadvantage is defined by the national Changing Futures Programme as people who experience three or more of: homelessness, current or historical offending, substance misuse, domestic abuse, and mental ill health.
The Changing Futures Programme Sussex aims to create an environment where individuals experiencing multiple disadvantage can receive flexible, trauma informed, person-centred support when they need it, leading to increased periods of stability and more opportunities to make positive changes in their lives.

What are we looking for?
You will possess good verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to organise and present information clearly, concisely, and accurately in ways that promote understanding, both verbally and in writing. You will need to work in a time limited, resilient, adaptable and organised way. You’ll also need to work proportionately and record accurately.
The role requires lengthy periods of concentration. You’ll need to be committed to continuing professional development, ensuring that your knowledge, skill, and practice is up to date.
