We're currently recruiting for a Revenue Officer to join the team, working from home. Job title: Revenues Officer Job Description: Revenue Officer £26,227.50 Work From Home - Travel with Southern England as required Responsibilities Examine council tax accounts or claims to ensure that the correct evidence and information is obtained in accordance with the standards required and contract procedures. Investigate, locate and select information required to assure the integrity of claims or data. Assess and make accurate decisions within agreed timescales and in accordance with the contract policies and procedures. Update computer records with information and correspond with customers to obtain the necessary evidence. Provide information and advice in response to customer enquiries About You Council Tax knowledge - preferable Debt Collecting experience - Desirable Excellent communication skills Strong decision making and innovative problem-solving skills Solid understanding of current legislation and best practice A good manner and ability to deal with customers with sympathy and tact Working to deadlines and achieving performance targets Ability to attend courts as and when required About Capita Local Government Capita Local Government has many close, long-standing relationships with local councils, supporting them in the challenges they face by delivering a variety of services.
