Overview
We are a small but very friendly training practice in the Carntyne area of Glasgow. We have 3 GP partners, a Nurse, Healthcare Assistant, Practice Manager, an Office Supervisor and 2 reception staff.
We are looking for a new receptionist/administrator to complete our team.
Pay will be dependent on experience. We offer 5 weeks holiday plus 10 bank holidays (pro rated) which increases with length of service. You would also be invited to join the NHS pension scheme at the end of your 3 months probationary period.
Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for patients and callers.
* Perform administrative tasks for the GP team.
* Maintain patient records and booking system.
* Provide support for holiday and sickness cover.
Qualifications
* Excellent communicator, good IT skills, hard working, reliable and a team player.
* Previous experience in working with the public.
* It would be ideal if you have previous experience of working in a GP practice but this is not essential as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
* A degree of flexibility is required for the role, as cover for holidays and sickness may be required, from time to time.
