Amnis Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing residential care provider, seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker to join their dedicated team in Chorley.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Care Worker ready to step into a senior role, or an existing Senior looking for genuine career progression within a supportive and expanding organisation.About the RoleYou will play a key role in supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma, ensuring they receive high-quality, consistent, and nurturing care within a safe residential setting.Working as part of a strong, multidisciplinary team, you will help create a stable and supportive environment that promotes positive outcomes and long-term development for each young person.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and guide the care team to meet the individual needs of young peopleDeliver direct, therapeutic support to children and young peopleWork collaboratively with external professionals to achieve the best outcomesProvide supervision and support to staff in line with regulatory standardsLead and contribute to Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings (Clinical & Education)Support the Deputy and Registered Manager in achieving service objectivesUphold safeguarding standards and promote a positive, nurturing environmentRequirementsLevel 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care ( essential )Minimum 1 year supervisory experience ( essential )Minimum 1 year experience supporting young people in residential care ( essential )Full UK Driving Licence ( essential )Minimum age: 21 yearsDesirable:Level 5 in Residential Child CareDBS on the Update ServiceWhats on OfferCompetitive salary including sleep-in payments (£65 per sleep, approx. 2 per week)Overtime premium ratesStructured rota (typically 2 days on, 4 days off)Comprehensive induction & ongoing trainingFully funded Level 5 Leadership & Management qualificationClear progression pathway to Deputy Manager / Registered ManagerPension scheme & health/wellbeing supportEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFree meals on shiftAccess to 200+ training coursesDBS paid forGenerous annual leave (217.5 hours inclusive of bank holidays)TPBN1_UKTJ
