We are seeking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Design Technology, Art and/or iMedia to join our supportive and successful team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across a range of creative and technical subjects, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students of all abilities. The post is offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. We are looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge, a passion for learning, and the ability to inspire and motivate students. Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply. About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated teacher to deliver DT, Art and/or iMedia across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable). You will plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners and promote excellent progress and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach DT, Art and/or iMedia across KS3 and KS4
2. Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
3. Assess, monitor and support student progress
4. Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development
5. Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
6. Act as a form tutor and contribute to the House system
7. Participate in CPD and wider school life
About You
The successful candidate will:
8. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
9. Have strong subject knowledge in DT, Art or iMedia
10. Be committed to high-quality teaching and inclusive practice
11. Can inspire and motivate students
12. Be organised, reflective and a strong team player
