Housekeeping Assistant Lancashire £11.44 per hour (Enhanced Pay at Weekends.)
To work 5 days over 7 including weekends. 7am till 3pm.

Purpose
To assist with maintaining the highest possible standard of cleanliness throughout the Service including the laundry.
Key Relationships
* This role carries no line management responsibilities.
* Responsible for working alongside and supporting volunteers within their team.
Qualifications required
No formal qualifications required.
Experience, Skills, and Ability
* Able to work as part of a team and independently.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work within policies, procedures, and Behavioural Framework.
* Understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety Regulations.
Complexity and Accountability
* This post holds no budgetary responsibility but requires keeping costs within limits.
* Responsible for understanding personal responsibilities under Health & Safety at Work legislation and COSHH requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for cleaning all areas of the Service as per schedules, managing laundry, and following guidance from the Housekeeping Supervisor.
* Ensure safety for service users, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
* Ensure safe storage and use of chemicals and equipment.
* Operate various cleaning equipment, report repairs or replenishments.
* Record all required information.
* Maintain standards according to national and local cleaning guidelines.
* Support the smooth operation of the Service, maintain a safe environment, confidentiality, and undertake additional tasks as needed.
