Overview
Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner urgently required for practices in the Swansea Valley area. Dream Medical is working with practices in the Swansea Valley area who urgently require locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
This role is a locum position with flexible working patterns and hours. Applications from Independent Nurse Practitioners who are registered with the NMC and hold an MSc/Postgraduate Diploma are welcomed.
Responsibilities
* Act as an autonomous practitioner, working independently and with other health professionals to assess, diagnose and treat patients.
* Provide professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues.
* Provide training to other members of the team.
* Undertake and interpret a wide range of diagnostic tests, such as cytology, venepuncture, blood pressure measurements and ECGs.
Qualifications
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Independent Nurse Prescriber.
* MSc or Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field.
