Your new role
Our client are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate should have experience in SQL and Snowflake technologies to develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for business users.
2. Work closely with business stakeholders to identify requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data visualisations.
4. Monitor and maintain the performance and security of Power BI reports.
5. Collaborate with the IT team and other stakeholders to ensure the data is accurate and consistent.
6. Create and maintain technical documentation for Power BI reports and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer
8. Strong experience in SQL and Snowflake technologies
9. Experience in data modelling, ETL, and data visualisation
10. Knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and other Power BI features
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
12. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills
What you'll get in return
A contract role lasting for six months initially, paying up to £400 per day that's Bedfordshire based with hybrid working on offer. The IR35 status is to be determined.
