Role overview:
Being part of the store’s Junior Management team, you will provide managerial support and help maintain and improve the levels of customer service throughout your section. You will assist in supervising staff while maintaining shop floor standards and handle managerial processes as instructed by Store Management.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service
* Provide excellent customer service.
* Handle customer complaints and inquiries to achieve the best outcomes.
* Ensure staff personal appearance aligns with company guidelines.
* Understand and utilize the Customer Service measuring programme.
Sales
* Achieve and exceed sales targets where possible.
* Monitor staff service levels to maximize store sales.
* Use in-store devices to promote the full product range.
* Utilize reports for product placement of key lines.
Visual Merchandising
* Attract, engage, and motivate customers using visual techniques.
* Maintain standards on the sales floor.
* Keep stock clean and presentable.
Skills & Experience
* Retail management experience is advantageous.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* IT skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
Training & Development
* Encourage personal progression within the store.
* Assist with induction and training of new staff.
* Support staff development and completion of relevant E-Assessments.
Role objectives and KPIs:
* Ensure high customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
* Drive sales and store turnover via merchandising, stock replenishment, and team motivation.
* Lead and develop the shopfloor team for high performance and adherence to policies.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shopfloor to enhance shopping experience.
