Deputy Manager - Positive Behaviour Supported Living - Lisburn - 1 year fixed term
Johnston Way is an Intensive Support Service in North Lisburn providing a person-centred approach to service users with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
We collaborate with Woven Housing Association and South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust to support individuals living in their own homes.
Johnston Way features two bungalows designed for eight residents, with communal living areas, kitchens, en-suite bedrooms, and an enclosed garden.
The service operates under the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Framework and provides 24-hour care and support.
Requirements
* A professional social work qualification registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) without conditions.
* OR a first-level registered nurse on the Nursing and Midwifery Council register.
* OR an Allied Health Professional registered with the Health Professions Council, combined with at least three years of experience in a health or social care setting, including one year in a management role.
* OR a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults’ Management) in Wales or Northern Ireland, with a minimum of four years of relevant practice experience.
Additional requirements include experience managing group living facilities for people with learning disabilities, knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support, effective communication and IT skills, CPI physical intervention training, a valid driving license with business insurance, and NISCC registration.
