GMC-registered Medical Practitioners

As a
Functional Assessor
, you will:
* Conduct assessments via
telephone or video consultations
to understand how a person's health condition or disability affects their daily life.
* Use your
clinical judgement and communication skills
to evaluate the impact of various conditions.
* Produce
factual, evidence-based medical reports
that help the
Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
determine eligibility for disability benefits.
* Complete assessments typically last around 45 minutes, with
comprehensive training and ongoing support
provided to ensure your success.
What We're Looking For
* GMC-registered Doctor with a
minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience (FY2 or above)
.
* Strong
communication and report-writing skills
.
* Ability to work towards
individual and team goals
within a supportive environment.
* Broad medical knowledge, with experience managing
a range of physical and mental health conditions
.
