Overview
A leading independent supplier of office services, specialising in Managed Print Services (MPS), Unified Communications, and IT/software solutions, is currently seeking an FP&A Analyst to join their Head Office in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping financial strategy, driving profitability, and supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights.
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
As an FP&A Analyst, you will work on high-impact projects, influence decision-making, and collaborate closely with teams across the business.
Responsibilities
* Develop, track, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance
* Provide commercial insights and financial analysis to support decision-making
* Build, update, and refine financial models for forecasting and performance tracking
* Deliver monthly reporting packs and financial insights for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board
* Partner with cross-functional teams to provide strategic financial input on company-wide initiatives
* Support process improvements and automation within finance to drive efficiency and accuracy
* Conduct ad-hoc financial modelling and analysis to inform business strategy
* Act as a systems super-user, ensuring data accuracy and supporting upgrades
Month-End Responsibilities
* Manage month-end reporting, including reconciliations with key departments
* Produce timely, high-quality month-end commentary packs and analysis for Board reporting
About You
The ideal candidate is proactive and analytical, able to turn complex data into actionable insights. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable working with large data sets, and enjoy collaborating across departments.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial planning & analysis
* Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis skills
* Advanced Excel skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
* Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
* Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent). However, qualified-by-experience candidates will be considered
* Experience in a professional services environment
* Proficiency with Power BI or similar BI tools
* Exposure to system upgrades or process improvement initiatives
* Experience preparing Board-level reporting packs
