Accounts Assistant
Crawley
TEMP - Rolling contract
Office-based
Up to £32,000 (depending on experience)
We are actively seeking a candidate to join a great business on a temp basis, who has the ability to pick things quickly and eager to get stuck in with the requirements of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing purchase and sales invoices
* Reconciling bank statements and accounts
* Preparing payment runs and managing supplier payments
* Assisting with month-end reporting and journal entries
* Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
* Supporting credit control and cash flow monitoring
* Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar accounts/finance role
* Good understanding of basic accounting principles
* Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
