We are looking for a flexible, friendly person with a positive approach and a drive for self-development to join this small established internal sales team in Huddersfield. Joining a great team environment you will be responsible for liaising with customers and transport carriers to solve any issues and provide admin/customer service support to the sales team. Duties include: Liaise with transport carriers and maximise the effectiveness of the working relationship Chasing delays in delivery / following up with carriers and keeping customers informed Ensuring missing items are fully investigated, with detailed information passed to the carrier Processing online claims for loss/damaged deliveries, within a set timeframe Proactive checking of partial deliveries / misrouted items Liaise with relevant departments companywide Requesting and ensuring receipt of credits where applicable Keeping lines of communication open between the company, our carriers and our customers Assist the internal sales team with day-to-day administrative and customer service duties Requirements : Experience in a sales support, office administration or customer services environment is essential. Experience within the automotive or logistics sector would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills The ability to deal with telephone and email queries in a professional manner Ability to multi-task Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.30pm Salary: £26,000 Reference: WS 335
