Purchasing & Logistics Administrator required for Cam based Engineering company paying £(phone number removed) hours pw, 25 days holiday + stats. GL11 area of Cam.
Our client provides high tech engineering solutions to a variety of industries including Nuclear, Automotive, Aerospace and Research & Development. Our client has a workforce of 11, the majority of whom have been with the business since it started in 2006. As this is a small workforce you are more than just a number and your role will be crucial in supporting the business to continue to grow.
Responsibilities
* Purchasing of all materials
* Creating purchasing BOMs to ensure accurate materials costs
* Working from engineering drawings to establish what materials are required and ensuring they are in stock
* Booking deliveries
* Checking invoices prior to sending to accounts for payment
* Creating correct shipping paperwork
* Arranging deliveries etc. via couriers
* Ensuring that stock levels are maintained at agreed levels
Requirements
* Familiar with using MS Office, particularly Excel
* Good telephone manner
* Previous experience of working in an office environment, preferably manufacturing/engineering
* Ability to work on your own initiative once trained
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 5.00, Friday 8.30 to 2.00
