Are you the right person for the job?
Ideally, you will have 3+ years' experience working in a Residential Conveyancing Department, handling both sales and purchases
Experience of the full conveyancing process
Familiarity with the Land Registry portal, HMRC portal, LMS, or Lender Exchange is beneficial
Experience using a case management system (LEAP preferred)
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload
Strong IT skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
Has a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accurate audio typing
Experience with diary management and liaising with clients
Able to work independently and as part of a team
What will your role look like?
Opening, updating, and closing matter files, recording client data using LEAP
Taking initial enquiries and passing details to fee earners
Carrying out identity and AML checks when opening files
Preparing contract packs and carrying out searches
Ordering redemption statements and organising completions
Preparing bills and financial documentation
Post-completion work, including Stamp Duty Land Tax returns, Land Registry applications, deeds schedules, etc.
Acting as a point of contact for internal and external callers, taking messages and relaying them promptly
Updating clients and agents throughout the process
Carrying out general office duties such as copying, printing, and scanning
