Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Adecco Workington are delighted to be supporting a leading manufacturing business in Wigton who are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their team.
Full time permanent role, Monday to Friday shift pattern, with a salary of up to £46,000 including shift allowance.
This is a varied, hands on engineering position within a modern production environment where no two days are the same. You will play a key role in keeping plant and equipment running at its best, responding quickly to breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance, and driving improvements that genuinely make a difference to performance and reliability.
There is real scope to get involved in continuous improvement, fault finding and problem solving, as well as supporting upgrades and modifications to equipment. You will be working closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve overall efficiency across site.
The role has a strong electrical focus, with some mechanical work involved, and suits someone who enjoys getting stuck into challenges, thinking on their feet and seeing the impact of their work on live production.
Key requirements
* HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong fault finding and problem solving ability
* Confident working with electrical systems and equipment
* Mechanical awareness desirable but not essential
