Overview of Company:
The Operations Manager is responsible for realizing the client’s outbound delivery requirements from the Consolidation Centre.
The role will instill confidence in the client regarding the facility's ability to deliver against a demanding schedule and develop relationships with third-party contractors to meet scheme requirements in the field.
Outline of Role:
Provide mechanical engineering design services to clients and support project teams with design services. Operate as a mechanical engineering subject matter expert.
Responsibilities:
* Produce mechanical engineering designs
* Develop calculations and supporting analysis for mechanical solutions
* Conduct surveys and site assessments to identify suitable mechanical solutions
* Meet with clients and stakeholders to determine requirements
* Support contractors in developing mechanical designs
* Assess contractor designs and provide critical analysis
* Conduct inspections during and after completion to ensure compliance with standards
* Collaborate with the wider team to develop client solutions
* Produce accurate drawings and design calculations
* Meet client deadlines
* Respond promptly to stakeholder queries
Knowledge/Experience Required:
* Mechanical engineering experience
* Knowledge of retail engineering solutions
* Experience in designing and delivering mechanical engineering solutions
* Proficiency in producing technical design drawings and calculations using suitable software
Skills Required:
* CAD & Revit proficiency
* Ability to produce design calculations and reports
* Data analysis skills
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Presentation skills
* Report writing skills
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
