The role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Assistant on behalf of our client. Our client is an established commercial cleaning contractor who have been steadily growing from strength-to-strength over the last 25 years.
Due to retirement our client is looking for someone to join their friendly and busy finance department.
Duties & Responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant:
* Producing monthly invoices
* Sales Ledger
* Credit Control
* Debtors ADR
* Payment Allocations
* Supporting and liaising directly with clients
* Creating invoices/statements
* Excel reporting
About you/ Experience Required:
* Previous experience in accounts - essential
* Proven experience working in an accounting or finance role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in excel/data entry and record keeping
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* SAGE experience – desirable
