Commercial Insurance Development Executive Location: Bromsgrove, Worcestershire Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm) Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience) Are you an experienced commercial insurance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a driven and client-focused Commercial Insurance Development Executive to join our dynamic team in Bromsgrove. This role is more than just generating new business — it's about becoming a trusted adviser to your clients, delivering tailored insurance solutions and building long-lasting relationships. Your Key Responsibilities As part of our commercial team, you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, with a focus on both service and growth. You will: * Handle inbound and outbound calls to support new and existing clients, ensuring a high-quality experience at every touchpoint. * Identify suitable insurance solutions that align with each client’s specific needs. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and underwriters. * Negotiate competitive terms and cover options to deliver value and peace of mind. * Operate in full compliance with FCA guidelines and internal procedures. * Proactively spot cross-selling or referral opportunities to enhance the client offering. What We're Looking For * Commercial insurance expertise – You’ll bring previous industry experience and confidence in managing client needs from day one. * Excellent communication skills – Both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally. * Highly organised and self-motivated – Able to manage a busy portfolio and work to deadlines without compromising on service. * Target-driven mindset – Comfortable working towards objectives, but always with a focus on what’s best for the client. * Strong interpersonal skills – A natural relationship builder with a genuine commitment to client care.
