We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated FEMALE Support Worker in the WORKINHAM/READING area to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in their homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties
* Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
* Support clients in maintaining their independence and achieving personal goals
* Implement and follow individualised care plans tailored to each client’s needs
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Assist with medication management as required
* Support clients with meal preparation and dietary requirements
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for all clients at all times
Skills
* Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely
* Experience in providing home care is desirable
* Knowledge of creating, implementing, and following care plans
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
* Proficient in record keeping and documentation purposes
* Fluency in English is essential for clear communication
* Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Organised with good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
