- Supporting learners through practical and classroom-based sessions
- Planning and delivering structured learning aligned with industry and qualification standards
- Guiding learners through accredited courses and apprenticeships, including preparation for End Point Assessment (EPA)
- Tracking learner progress, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with admin and curriculum teams
- Staying current with industry developments in gas and renewable technologies
What we're looking for:
We welcome applications from both qualified trainers and skilled engineers ready to start a new career in training.
For experienced trainers:

- Proven industry experience in domestic gas and/or air source heat pumps
- Relevant certifications:
* Gas: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
* Renewables: BPEC or LCL Awards in Heat Pumps, NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating
For trainee trainers:
- Strong technical background in gas, heating, plumbing, or renewables
- Relevant qualifications as above
- A passion for mentoring and developing others
- Willingness to work towards teaching and assessing qualifications (fully funded and supported by us)
Salary & Benefits:
- £36,000 – £44,000 (based on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities)
- Performance-based bonus scheme (linked to learner outcomes at EPA)
- 37.5 hours per week (typically 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday)
- Career progression and salary development pathways
- Supportive and collaborative team culture
- Modern, well-equipped training centres
