Overview
Assistant Store Manager at FOOTASYLUM – Forster Square Retail Park, Bradford. You will lead the team at our brand-new store opening and play a key role in shaping its success from day one. Training will likely take place at another nearby store, and you will be involved in selecting the new store team.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Store Manager with the store’s day-to-day responsibilities, including oversight of staff and delivery of excellent customer service
* Model effective leadership and develop a high-performing team
* Carry out the Store Manager’s duties in their absence and progress toward becoming Store Manager
Development and Training

About You
We’re looking for someone passionate about fashion retail and aligned with our values. The ideal Assistant Store Manager will have:
* Proven experience in fashion retail, ideally in a managerial role within a fast-paced environment
* A strong track record of leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* The ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities
* Exceptional organisational skills and a customer-first mindset
* A deep understanding of the fashion industry and current market trends
Ideal for candidates currently working as a Deputy Store Manager, Retail Operations Supervisor, Store Management Associate, Assistant Retail Manager, or Sales Floor Manager.
