Morson is delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading Aerospace organisation to recruit a Material Handler & Warehouse Operative. The role would be based in the Severn Beach area of Bristol and would be for an initial 6 month duration. The role would be working core days from 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The rate of pay on offer would be £14.35 PAYE Per Hour. Any overtime would be paid with an uplift. Please find the job spec. below: Follow standard work for material handling (e.g. receiving, shipping, warehousing…) Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules Use adequate equipment to move material Records movements of material in the transactional records systems (e.g. receipt, booking….) Make proposals to improve safety, quality, efficiency… The scope of this role will relate to the following subjects: • Manage inbound material flow • Monitor inbound delivery performance • Receive, inspect, and store inbound deliveries • Track product availability • Pick, pack, and ship product for delivery • Prepare package and shipment • Manage shipping, carriers, and fleets • Authorize and process returns • Perform reverse logistics • Perform salvage activities • Manage and process warranty claims • Locate stock • Prepare stock for movement • Physically move stock • Maintain inventory status • Perform physical inventory procedures Simply hit the 'Apply Now' button for an immediate application.
