Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you need to travel to our Reigate, Edinburgh or Glasgow office 2 days per week for this role.

We’re recruiting an Enrichment Pricing Manager (known internally as a Pricing Manager – Protect (South)) within our Motor Risk Pricing team. This team looks after the technical and live claims cost models, identifies and assesses new data sources, monitors the day‑to‑day performance of the portfolio and regularly proposes price changes based on emerging experience.
The Role
* Analysing new data sources, internal and external, for use within Pricing.
* Feature engineering and modelling new rating features using a range of modelling techniques.
* Supporting the continual improvement in Motor risk technical claim cost pricing models and supporting data feeds.
* Bringing price proposals to the appropriate forums for discussion and approval, ensuring the customer is considered.
* Periodic review of value and ongoing maintenance of existing data sources and enrichment.
* Developing the suite of model monitoring reports to identify trends at the earliest opportunity.
* Working closely with your risk and retail pricing counterparts to deliver good end‑to‑end outcomes.
* Supplier / stakeholder management for existing and proposed data sources.
* Line management for two analysts.
What you’ll bring (min criteria)
* Strong theoretical and practical understanding of Personal Lines pricing
* Deep knowledge and experience of modelling techniques – principally GLM and GBM
* Prior experience of using insurance pricing software, e.g. Radar, Emblem
* Knowledge of programming languages e.g., SAS, R, and Python
* Great attention to detail and an analytical mentality
