Hays is proud to partner with a leading aerospace manufacturer to recruit for a Program Manager to support the A220 program. This is a key role within the organisation, focused on supplier performance, program delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.
Your new role
- Manage relationships with suppliers and customers- Keep projects on schedule and within budget
- Monitor supplier performance and solve issues quickly
- Lead on-site activities and ensure the program stays a top priority
- Identify risks and help suppliers overcome challenges
- Communicate daily with internal teams and suppliers
- Represent the company in meetings and reviews
- Maintain strong working relationships across departments
- Provide regular updates and reports to support decision-making
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Engineering or Business with 5+ years of relevant experience OR HNC with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of aerospace operations
- Experience managing at least two major projects
- Confident working with senior management, customers, and suppliers
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
