Key Tasks and Duties:
* Work within the ethos and standards of the company
* Responsible for your own Health & Safety and that of your colleagues
* Communicate with the Despatch Office, shift leader, or coordinator about shortages or issues with loads
* Follow instructions in all areas
* Work with haulier drivers to load trucks
* Ensure all data recorded is accurate and current
* Ensure correct product is loaded for the customer
* Assemble and wrap product to customer specifications
* Label and pack products to a high standard
* Unload trailers, including pallets, plastic, plasterboard, and general deliveries
* Split pallets and relabel as needed, ensuring correct labeling for dispatch
* Operate forklift in designated areas to keep the line running and vehicles loaded to meet customer needs
* Drive shunter to move trailers around the yard and in/out of loading bays
* Unload returns and record them properly
* Assist with month-end stock takes when required
* Maintain good housekeeping standards
* Keep up-to-date knowledge of all products
* Dispose of waste appropriately
* Complete all required training to perform your role effectively
* Comply with Health & Safety regulations
* Follow quality guidelines in all areas
* Work flexibly to meet deadlines
* Perform other duties as assigned by management
