Alliance Personnel are currently recruiting for assistant production manager to join one of their food manufacturing clients based in Birmingham. Role Duties * Supporting senior management team by overseeing and handling day-to-day production shop-floor operational issues, ensuring, high-quality and cost-efficient customer service. Responsibilities * Assisting senior management in delivery of daily production plans. * Conducting daily shop-floor meetings with production team leaders. * Generating shift reports for senior managers. * Assisting in resolving production shop-floor issues. * Issuing and collecting daily production plans. * Assist with shop-floor personnel issues. * Assisting with conducting staff disciplinary and grievance matters. * To promote a positive and work-focused culture within the production areas. * To assist with ensuring the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards. Skills and Attributes Essential: * Enthusiastic and positive approach. * Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills. * Computer Literate. * Self-motivated, keen for a long-term career in the Food industry. Highly Advantageous: * Proven leadership experience within a food environment would be preferable. Hours of Work 7:30 – 5:00 Monday to Friday Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £38,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
