Salary: £60,638 per annum plus 7% pension, rising to £67,173 over 5 years, subject to satisfactory performance.

Are you an experienced finance manager with a strong business acumen, a sound understanding of charity governance, and excellent communication skills?
Would you like to use your skills and experience to help a leading conservation charity protect and restore Devon’s remarkable natural environment?
The Director of Finance & Governance is a new role within DWT’s supportive senior leadership team. You will oversee the financial management, business planning, and governance of DWT and its trading subsidiaries. You will enhance financial literacy across the organisation and ensure that everyone understands the charity’s finances and has the information needed to make sound business decisions. You will also ensure resources are managed in line with best practices to maximise impact for Devon’s wildlife.
This role combines strategic oversight with active involvement in managing financial systems and processes.
If you are CCAB qualified or equivalent, commercially savvy, people-oriented, and eager to contribute to a meaningful cause, this could be the role for you.
This is a full-time, permanent position based at Cricklepit Mill, Exeter, with the option to work from home up to three days per week. We are also open to other flexible working arrangements.
Interviews are scheduled for Monday 19 May and Tuesday 20 May (PM). Second interviews will be held on 3 June (AM).
