Grounds Person immediately required for our valued client the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. This role is based in PennyBurn Londonderry. This is a temporary role for 6 months with a possible extension. The hours of work are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1pm on Friday with a Rate of pay at £13.05-£13.47 per hour depending on experience The Successful candidate will have relevant experience, be able to operate, use and maintain mechanical/electrical equipment and machinery such as chain saws, grass-cutters, hedge trimmers, strimmer’s, push mowers, ride-on mowers, and tractor mounted flail hedge-cutters. What you will be doing: Establishing and maintenance of shrub beds and grassed areas Removing dead trees and planting trees Sharpen and renew blades for mowers To clean grounds and lift litter Where necessary display signs in work areas warning of dangers What We Need From You 1 Years previous experience in a similar role A full current driving licence which includes B1E or C1E What We Will Offer You Weekly pay up to £13.47 per hour Inclusion into the company pensions scheme
