Job Description
The Key responsibilities for the Employee Relations Consultant role are:
3. Provide expert guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practice to ensure compliance and fairness
4. Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues, including disputes, grievances and disciplinary matters
5. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in projects, and deliver training to stakeholders on ER casework to ensure legal compliance.
6. Actively appraise cases, learning points and support the Senior ER Consultant and ER Manager with continuous improvement of the service delivered to the wider business
7. Maintaining regulatory compliance and safer recruitment practice
8. Working collaboratively to define and refine HR procedures, processes and Policy Reviews.
9. Acting as a primary contact for employee relations matters
10. Overseeing the maintenance of HR information and processing data for payroll
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Employee Relations Consultant role is someone with the following:
11. CIPD qualified LEVEL 7 (Or relevant experience)
12. Experienced in HR Employee Relations. (Complex ER Casework)
13. Organised and methodical, proactive and positive
14. Used to balancing and prioritising a varied workload
15. Previous experience in HR and complex case working
16. Strong computer proficiency.
17. Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments.
18. Excellent time management, multitasking, and organisational skills
19. Loves the thrill of the chase
