Key Responsibilities
* Lead & Develop Teams: Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
* Modernise Processes: Implement digital accounting tools, automation, and AI solutions, challenging outdated practices.
* Client Portfolio Management: Deliver high-quality audit, accounts, and advisory services; nurture strong client relationships and add tangible value.
* Drive Business Growth: Identify new business opportunities, expand services to existing clients, and contribute to profitable practice growth.
* Strategic Input: Partner with Directors and Partners to define practice priorities, improve processes, and develop innovative services.
* Change Management: Lead the adoption of new systems, technologies, and modern workflows across teams.
Required Skills & Experience
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in practice.
* Proven leadership and team management experience within an accountancy practice.
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
* Strategic thinker, balancing short-term operational needs with long-term business goals.
* Experience implementing digital tools, AI, and automation in accounting practices.
* Knowledge of the North West business landscape is highly advantageous.
