This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled Python Developer to support a strategic client engagement. We are looking for candidates who can deliver robust, scalable Python solutions across data transformation, API integration, and deployment pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop modular, maintainable Python codebases using both procedural and object‑oriented paradigms.
* Build and expose RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask, ensuring secure integration with API Gateway.
* Handle complex data ingestion and transformation tasks using Pandas and NumPy.
* Implement field‑level and cross‑file data validation checks, ensuring schema integrity and referential consistency.
* Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy solutions via CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
* Configure environments, manage secrets, and support containerisation using Docker.
Required Skills & Experience
* Core Python Development
o Advanced proficiency in Python 3.x.
o Strong understanding of exception handling and error management.
o Experience in modular code design for scalability.
* Data Handling & Transformation
o Expertise in Pandas and NumPy for bulk data ingestion, multi‑file processing, schema validation and cleansing.
o Familiarity with rule engines or custom validation frameworks.
* API & Integration
o RESTful API development using FastAPI or Flask.
o JSON/XML payload handling, request/response management.
o Authentication protocols (OAuth2, RBAC).
* DevOps & Deployment
o CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
o Basic Docker knowledge and cloud deployment familiarity.
o Environment configuration and version control best practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in financial services or regulated environments.
* Able to work independently and manage deliverables in a fast‑paced setting.
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
