Pay: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a welcoming primary school?
Our education agency is currently recruiting dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in the WF7 area of Wakefield.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to support pupils across the classroom, providing individual or small-group support and helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment. You'll assist in promoting good behaviour, ensuring pupils stay on task, and supporting their emotional and academic development.
Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning in line with the national curriculum
Work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils to aid progress and engagement
Assist with classroom management and encourage positive behaviour
Support children with additional learning needs as required
Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environmentRequirements
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant (essential)
Strong understanding of classroom behaviour management strategies
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
