Anderson Knight is recruiting a Stock Controller for a well-established company based in Hillington. The Stock Controller plays a key role in the effective management and compliance of refrigerant gas inventory in line with F-Gas regulations. This position ensures accurate stock control, timely cylinder returns, and correct allocation of refrigerant usage across our service operations. Acting as the central point of coordination between suppliers, the service desk, and field-based teams, the role ensures the integrity of legislative documentation and supports cost control through efficient stock management and process oversight. Salary - £29,000 Hours – Office based, Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage refrigerant pricing from suppliers, ensuring stock records in the service system are accurate and that all orders are raised using the correct product codes, especially for customer-specific agreements. • Monitor and manage refrigerant cylinder usage, ensuring returns are completed within agreed timeframes to avoid additional rental charges. • Maintain accurate records of cylinder holdings in collaboration with suppliers. • Coordinate with the Service Administration Team to ensure refrigerant usage is accurately and efficiently allocated to service jobs. • Maintain regular and effective communication with key stakeholders, including engineers, suppliers, and management. • Ensure proper processes are in place and followed to identify any outstanding or unissued refrigerant stock. • Maintain a clear understanding of F-Gas regulations and ensure compliance in all relevant areas. • Ensure that all supporting documentation is filed correctly, both digitally (scanning) and manually, as needed. • Record and manage legislative documentation in line with client and company compliance requirements. • Generate and review exception reports on slow-moving or overdue gas stock and actively engage operational teams to facilitate timely returns. Qualifications and Skills: • Extensive knowledge of Excel (Particularly Pivot table, concatenates and can do either v, x or y look ups) and other Microsoft Office packages. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Experience in the service industry is preferred but not essential. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.
