We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in West Sussex to assist with the appointment of an HR Advisor, on a 7-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £17.19 - £22.46 per Hour
Hours Per Week :18.50
Responsibilities:
* Provide clear, accurate, and timely HR advice to managers and employees, particularly concerning employee relations issues such as absence, grievances, bullying and harassment, conduct, performance, and recruitment.
* Support the effective operational delivery of Directorate/Service People Plans in collaboration with HR Business Partners.
* Promote understanding and consistent application of HR policies and procedures within the supported service areas.
* Manage employee relations casework to resolution, referring complex issues to senior HR staff or specialists as appropriate.
* Contribute to policy development, implementation, and review, ensuring alignment with employment law and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Working towards or holding a Level 5 CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience in delivering HR generalist support and advice in a similar environment.
* Demonstrated experience of handling employee relations issues and interpreting HR policy.
* Experience of contributing to policy or procedural reviews.
