This role is responsible for overseeing the firm's global financial strategy, performance management and operational finance functions. The CFO will act as a key strategic partner to firm leadership, supporting long term growth, profitability and disciplined financial governance across multiple regions.The firm employs several hundred professionals globally and operates across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, commercial judgment and experience navigating complex partnership based organizations.Main duties and responsibilities include the following:Lead global financial strategy, planning and performance management for the firmPartner with senior leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives, investments and growth opportunitiesOversee all finance, accounting, billing, collections, treasury and tax functionsManage global budgeting, forecasting and long range financial planning processesMonitor profitability by practice, sector and geography and drive continuous improvementEnsure effective internal controls, risk management and compliance across jurisdictionsManage banking relationships, capital structure and liquidityProvide clear, timely financial reporting and insights to firm leadershipThis role is 4 days/ week in office in Midtown. 1 day/ week REMOTE.The Successful ApplicantIn return for a competitive remuneration package, the successful candidate will possess the following:Bachelor's degreeCPA (ideal but not essential)15+ years of relevant finance experience within a global law firmProfessional services experience with partnership or shareholder models will be consideredProven ability to operate in a complex, international environmentStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skillsWhat's on OfferBase salary between $ 700,000 and $ 800,000Annual performance related bonus of around $ 100,000 to $ 200,000Generous 401K contributionCompetitive benefits package
