We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our valued client based in Avonmouth on a temp-to-perm basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods across the southwest.Immediate start available
This position is an average of 45 hours per week, on a 4 days on, 2 days off rota. Overtime is available in addition to a performance based quarterly bonus - OTE £35,000
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
* Delivering and installing products including washing machines, dishwashers and TVs (full training and tools provided)
* Providing a professional, friendly service to customers
* Completing delivery paperwork accurately
* Planning routes and navigating efficiently while adhering to all road traffic laws
* Loading and unloading goods safely
What Were Looking For
* Full UK driving licence (Category C1 or C) with no more than 6 penalty points
* Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
* Experience in multi-drop deliveries
* Physically fit and willing to load/unload goods
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Good time management and attention to detail
* A professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude
