Job summary We have an exciting new opportunity for a receptionist to join the team based at Tiptree Medical Centre on a part-time basis for 20 hours per week. Main duties of the job Booking appointments. Greeting patients. Answering queries from patients and outside agencies and/or signposting to appropriate members of staff. Updating patient records. Person Specification Experience Essential Good standard of education including Maths and English. Experience of working and providing customer services. Strong IT skills and be able to use computer-based systems. Excellent communication skills both written and orally. Friendly and positive approach towards patients and other visitors either in person or over the telephone. Desirable Ideally you will have reception experience, and it would be beneficial if you have experience working within primary care, however this is not essential. Experience of SystmOne would be desirable, however full training will be given to a suitable candidate.
