Location & Working Hours
Winsford Dene, Winsford, Cheshire, United Kingdom (CW7 1AT)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Mon, Fri, Sat 14:00‑22:00 & Sun 10:00‑16:00
Hourly Rate: £12.50
Type: Permanent – Full‑time
Main Responsibilities
* Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
* Assess and identify vulnerabilities, acting proactively to reduce risk.
* Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
* Manage vulnerable persons with empathy, avoiding distress.
* Complete colleague and contractor searches in line with customer policy.
* Digitally report incidents using tablets/phones for daily activity planning.
* Provide detailed, legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities.
Required Experience & Qualifications
• Hold a valid SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence (or be willing to obtain one).
• Previous experience in a Retail Security role is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Able to provide a full 5‑year checkable work or background history and right‑to‑work documents.
