Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team to work in our clients' children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are looking for flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals who want to work within a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs within residential or independent living settings. The goal is to create an environment that caters to the young person's intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who have been placed into the care system for various reasons and have diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, confidence, patience, and the right skill set are essential to work successfully with these young people and make a positive impact on their lives.
In this role, you will support young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, and support young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations like family contacts, school, and social activities.
Please note that you will need to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully finish one of our induction programs before any placements are offered.

13. Undertake any other relevant duties as required.
