Custom software engineer

About the Role

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design and build scalable, high‑performing software solutions that address evolving business needs. You will contribute hands‑on to development while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, helping deliver reliable and efficient systems that create meaningful business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance custom software components aligned with business and technical requirements
• Apply sound engineering principles to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high‑quality solutions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with user needs and project objectives
• Analyze technical issues and propose practical solutions to improve performance and system reliability
• Participate actively in Agile development practices, including code reviews and sprint activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and standards
• Support team members by sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative working environment

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Custom Application Development and hands‑on coding experience
• Strong foundation in Software Engineering principles, including object‑oriented design and development
• Experience in software design and solution development for enterprise or business applications
• Ability to analyze problems and deliver efficient, practical solutions
• Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools
• Exposure to cloud‑based environments or microservices architecture
• Knowledge of DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in performance optimization and application scalability
