Overview
Director, Business Development for Merchant Partnerships – UK&I. Lead Mastercard’s strategic efforts to grow merchant partnerships across Hospitality, Entertainment, Media & Telcos. Drive adoption of Mastercard’s digital products (tokenisation and Click-to-Pay) and sell in a growing set of capabilities across the value-add service mix. Serve as the primary interface for internal and external stakeholders, shaping merchant engagement strategies and delivering scalable solutions that align with Mastercard’s digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute partnership strategies with merchants to support revenue growth and Mastercard’s strategic objectives.
* Develop and execute a segment strategy framework, aligning with internal stakeholders to support key activities.
* Deploy Mastercard’s digital capabilities across the merchant portfolio, including tokenisation, SCOF, and Click-to-Pay.
* Identify opportunities across the merchant portfolio to position value-add services and collaborate with internal teams to execute.
* Negotiate commercial framework agreements to support the implementation of strategic objectives.
* Provide strategic thought leadership and demonstrate Mastercard’s value to the merchant community.
* Represent and champion the voice of the merchant to internal stakeholders to help shape Mastercard’s value proposition.
* Lead a Manager of Business Development within the team and harness collaborative efforts to enhance strategic partnerships and drive growth.
