Production OperativeSalary: £26,000 per annumWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pmReporting To: Factory & Logistics ManagerOverviewWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role within a woodwork facility, supporting various stages of assembly, finishing and dispatch. Full training will be provided on machinery and internal processes.This position would suit someone with previous experience in woodworking or a factory-based setting who demonstrates strong work ethic and attention to detail.RequirementsPrevious experience within a woodworking or manufacturing environment is desirableExperience working in a production or factory setting would be advantageousGood level of spoken and written EnglishConfident using hand tools such as drills and basic workshop equipmentReliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a teamKey DutiesSupporting skilled operatives with cutting, trimming and preparation of door componentsAssisting with hardware fitting, glazing elements and final product labellingHelping with the installation of decorative features and mouldingsPreparing doors and frames ready for finishing processesSanding and preparing primed products within the paint departmentCarrying out filling and surface preparation prior to finishingAssisting with spraying and finishing processes as requiredPacking completed door sets ready for distributionLoading finished products onto delivery vehicles and assisting with deliveries where requiredMoving incoming materials and stock within the factoryMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working environmentSupporting management with additional reasonable tasks when required
